What is Recourse?

Recourse is a legal information company specialized to help businesses and individuals to take collection and other debt-related matters into their own hands.

What does Recourse do?

We make the templates, information, and resources used by debt collection professionals available to everyone, allowing them to execute their own legal remedies for a fraction of the cost. 

Do I need to be a legal expert to use it?

No! We have made it easy to understand the applicable laws and to create your own documents with our user friendly resources and comprehensive forms that explain the process as you go.

How do I know the remedies are legitimate?

We always provide the names and sources for the pertinent Acts that each document relates to so you can proceed with confidence and peace of mind.

Does anyone review my documents?

No.  Our software, templates, and resources were created and are maintained by legal professionals and experts, however, at no time will anyone at Recourse review or confirm the legitimacy of your documents once they are customized by you.

Does Recourse become my agent or representative when I use it?

No.  Our software and resources enable customers to act on their own behalf, but at no point do we act as an agent, attorney, bailiff, or any kind of representative.  The information and resources provided are legal information only, and should at no time be considered legal advice.

How do I know if Recourse is or is not right for a certain situation?

We will ALWAYS do everything we can to make sure that you know when we are not right for you. We want users to feel comfortable with the actions that they take which is why we will always urge you to consult a lawyer or other legal professional in your area if you ever feel unsure or uncomfortable with your action.
